Earlier this year whie the haute couture shows were gearing up to set sail down the runways at London Fashion Week, a collective of young designers were assembling in the trendy W1 area of London to showcase their new collections to a whole host of presss, pr's and buyers at MARGIN; an urban fashionista's wet dream! 69 headed south to uncover the freshest labels that we predict will be breaking through on the fashion scene very soon! Not only that, we've cherry picked some brand new trendies that you should be keeping a close yee on which are already stocked that little bit closer to home.

2d's Place
Labelled urban clothing with serious character, 2d's Place are bright young things that have produced an upbeat street wear collection for both men and women. Taking inspiration from individual personalities and combining them with Japanese forms and shapres, the range features loveable characters with their own slogans including Fro Daddy with his "word to yo momma" catchphrase and "rice and peas" rap! Applied Clothing
The lovechild of graphic designer James Kerrison, Applied Clothing was born out of a boredom of designing pharmaceutical brochures and bus poster adverts and a hunger for something new and inspired. The latest collection "Collaboration:One" is a carefully constructed and eclectic range of quirky one-off designs, courtesy of 10 international designers and illustrators. Big Fluff
Behind closed doors somewere in the capital, a hub of creativity has ben bubbling away and it's our duty to help Big Fluff burst onto the big picture with their original, hand-painted clothing. Using an array of stencials, rubber stamps, woodblocks and the very occasional potato, each piece is unique and with cheeky takes on trends, these guys keep it edgy without being too die-hard, try-hard! Ruby Rocks
Although its founders have over 10 years of design and retail experience, Ruby Rocks is a shiny new label that is about to explode onto illustrious baby doll dresses, vintage style smocks with floral motifs and more casual skirts, vests, swats and dungaress mised up in a palette of petrol, sage, aqua and pink. Presenting wardrobe staples alongside indivisual one-offs, this label is pure indulgence. Awash with influences from across the world, Yamama pays homage to classic, timeless designs in its latest collection which fuses together a palette of mango, mint green and walnut with emerald and dusty rose. Goalfood
Skatewear, surfwear and snowboarding togs have all filtered through into the mainstream fashion arena over the years but never has the beautiful game taken on such a fashion stance (bar all of the team shirts that us Brits seem to wear relentlessly for several months of the year). It was this that inspired Nottingham based brand Goalfood to develop a kit of design-lef items complete with individual slogans and funky graphics. Private School Assault Wear
Los Angeles based label, Private School Assault Wear is all about preppy styling with subversive elements. Defined by unique cuts and abstract ideas, their spring/summer collection features powerful gun, knife and tank visuals inscribed onto ultra soft t-shirts, polo's and long-sleeved tee's. Also check out their grenade clasp belts and logo'd caps; the ultimate in original styling. Comprising of three separate and distinct labels with individually refined characteristics, Tom, Dick and Harry is a Sydney based breed of clothing that stems from creative, functional and fashionable styling.
